[Loch-Ruadh] Cribbage

That would be great! I haven’t played cribbage since I was about 10
years old! I remember the cribbage board my Mom had we lost the pegs so
we used matches instead... talk about old memories! I would love to
refresh the memories and play again too!

Y'know, I hear this talk of cribbage and I was wondering if someone
would
teach me how to play it.  I'm an avid learner.  If someone would bring
whatever pieces are necessary to say Yule Revel, I'd be willing to learn
the
game if someone was willing to teach me.

After Caitrin's wonderful description of the events of yesterday, there
is
but little to add.  After her group's departure, Lady Elizabeth, Lord
Alaric
and I listened in the Bardic Circle for a short time.  The winner of the
Children's Bardic (alas, I do not know her name) enchanted us with her
original song/poem.  I am not sure of her age, but it is doubtful that
she
numbered more than 10 or 11 years.  We were told that this composition
had
only been written the evening before in the space of 20 minutes and
recited
as a poem in that bardic circle.  Music was then added in time to
compete in
the Children's Bardic.  Quite impressive for a girl of her tender years.

Soon we made ready to go and went to find Lady Asa who had been talking
to
Lady Gwenllian across the hall.  We gathered our belongings and
journeyed
home, arriving around midnight.  As previous stated by Lady Caitrin, the
weather was beautiful and company delightful.  It seems that Lady
Gwenllian
has indeed found a new partner with which to pass the time in
challenging
games of cribbage and my lord was delighted meet her challenge.  She had
once told me that no one would play cribbage with her anymore because
she
always won the day.  That will no longer be the case now.

I hope that every one has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and will hope
to
see you at the soap making class next Saturday.
