Greetings to All Lughnasad Gate Volunteers

Lughnasad is almost upon us and as gate coordinator, I want to make sure that all volunteers are familiar with gate procedures.  They are a little more complicated this year than they have been in the past, so I will be holding a short gate class to take place before populace meeting this Wednesday.  The class will start at 7:00 pm at Perrotti's and I hope everyone will try to be on time (mundane time, NOT SCA time).  I will have handouts for all volunteers and be going over the process.  There is a least one person on each shift who is familiar with this process, but because of the Non Member Surcharge, it certainly doesn't hurt to review everything.

I have attached a gate schedule in case you have forgotten which shift you volunteered for. If there is a problem, please notify me ASAP.  If you made a committment to work a shift at gate, please do your best to come to the class and keep your committment.  We do not have a surplus of volunteers because so many people are busy doing other things.

Thank you in advance for volunteering to work this very aspect of our event.  With your help, we can make the signing in process as quick and painless as possible for all of our guests.
