Pretty much; well at least as long as I continue to take this medicine. It
is great;
It has taken away all the pain but I still have a lot of swelling and it
looks like s--t,
but I can live with that I guess. Sometimes it is swollen so tight that my
leg is shiny
and my ankle can't bend. It sucks to be old!

Well far be it from me to gossip......BUT........these war preparations
have been some
thing else. I have never seen such confusion about who is doing what, when
and why
in my life. I guess I was just spoiled from the way we used to do
it. Everybody had
a job, it was posted and that was it. Didn't matter who did it but you
were responsible
for it. It was decided who would cook and they decided what they would
cook and
everyone compared so they didn't have chili every night. Money was
collected before
we went and each cook was given so much for their meal. They did their own
shopping,
when they wanted to and if they went over budget it was their problem and
if they were
under they could keep it or buy something extra. The night I cooked, I
made Fiesta
Corn Soup with Chicken, had breads and cheeses. I was going to fry apples for
dessert but no one wanted dessert so I cooked them next morning to go with our
pancakes and bacon. We really had a lot of fun and no one had to work their
butt off
before or during war.

Hey Innes, I think that is great about your new job. You even have
experience telling
volunteers what to do, huh!!! Did they know what you did for fun or something?

And as far as Elizabeth's hair goes, I wish mine would lay down like hers
does. Mine
is at odds with itself all the time it seems. I have always admired sleek
hair and have
always had wavy hair; you know, each one stands up and waves at the
others. I just
hate having to fool with my hair. Maybe wigs were made for me??? But they
are hot
and usually crooked on me. <G>

Well, enough of my rambling, gossiping and such. I need to do something
constructive,
like load the dishwasher, ugh! But it is better than having to wash them
by hand, as I
remember!

Later, Bicé
