[Loch-Ruadh] Persona Work Day

[PBW]

If you (or anyone reading the list) have had a kiddo in band contests
you know they judge kinda odd...  you get a 1,2,3,or 4 (ok  that doesn't
seem to odd yet when you say it out loud...) 1 being the highest and a 4
the lowest.

She got "1"s in all areas, and the whole band did a sight reading and
got a "1" as well. The entire band will now move on to UIL competition
and she will move on to Regional's (both solo and in an ensemble (sp?)
with her friends).

I'm rather proud of her! Being a woodwind player myself I am amazed that
anyone can get sounds that are harmonious out of brass, and she's doing
exceptionally well with the French horn! Course, our middle kiddo who
plays clarinet isn’t doing badly either! Though I may be partial since
that’s what I started out my musical career playing! Hehehe
