After securing permission to do so, I share the following message received from a couple residing in Bonwicke. Lord Godfrey was injured in the chivalric list at Elfsea Defender and he and his lady wished to give word fame to one in our midst who helped them through their ordeal. I would appreciate someone sharing this on the Steppes List as well. Centurion Almar's humility shone through in his remarks to me when he said he was "merely repaying kindness that had been shown to him, and that we're all just one big family, right?" Vivat! Honorable Lord Almar & Lady Tatiana! And my thanks to Ld. Godfrey and Lady Constance for bringing this act to our attention. May your recovery be swift.

HE Armand Dragonetti
Baron of Elfsea

  To Your Excellencies;
  Greetings unto you and your house,
  We, Ld Godfrey and Ldy Constance of Bonwicke were at the event last weekend and we would like to direct your attention to a couple of your populace by the name of Ld Almar and Ldy Tatiana who were at this event also. My Ld Godfrey was injured during the battle and this most honorable and wonderful couple offered us the use of their home for the night since my Ld was unable to continue at the event. They most unselfishly left the event early to allow us to abide in their home to get a good night's rest before we began the long and arduous journey to Bonwicke. They really did not know us before this event, yet they showed no hesitation in offering us lodging, even before we had returned from the hospital, later that evening. We think this unselfish act should not go unnoticed by those in which they serve. Therefore, we humbly ask that if you see fit to honor these two loyal, humble and most honorable servents, we would be most grateful to you and your Barony.
  Thank you for this consideration,
  In Service,
  Ld Godfrey and Ldy Constance
  AKA Harold and Leeta Loveless
