Subject: [ansteorra-yr] Youth using epee& Lughnasad


   At Round Table it was announced that the use of epee's by youth 
would be phased in.  This weekend at Lughnasad I and Josephina used 
epee's in a swiss five tournament format.  This was done with the 
permission of the Kingdom Earl Marshall Duke Patrick Michael and Her 
Majesty and with the agreement of both fighters and there 
parent/guardian.  The fighting went well and Her Majesty seemed 
pleased with the use of the epees. 
   On a seperate note...a little word fame & some other business.  
Josephina of Rosenfeld fought very well at Lugnasad and waqs 
victorious.  Unfortunatley, we were the only fighters. Also, Queen's 
Champion is fast approaching.  Let us all make ready to do battle on 
the field to vie for the title of Guardian of the Queen's Hope in 
Tulsa,OK on the fist weekend of September.
