At the risk of sounding like a commercial, you can get both cable and Dsl via satellite. I enjoy my satellite much more than the available cable. With cable I got more snow that Montana. The only problem is when it rain. But how often does that happen in Texas. Actually the cost is not much different. Gruffydd Mawr
