Well, I have had ATT for about 10 years now. They have been extremely 
reliable, which is important to me.  DSL is not available out here in 
the boonies from anybody.

I pay 16.95/ month for 150 hours (I have never gone over 100) They also 
offer unlimited hours for abotu $23 per month. They have no adds and are 
active in fighting spam. If you pay less than this, and often even for 
these prices, you get lots of advertising. Once I got around to actually 
reporting the spammers (takes seconds), I dropped from about 40% spam to 
less than 5% in about a month.

DSL may be available where you live from several companies. Normally, if 
one company offers it, then you have several available.  It is not 
available here because of the distance I am from a main phone switch box.

If you have Cable  TV, you may also be able to get cable internet 
service. My brother has this and loves it. His reallllly boogies.
