Madelina is correct - the British lump both turnips and rutabagas under
the name "swede". As one who has eaten both in "neeps and tatties", I
recommend using turnips, as rutabagas have a stronger, sharper taste,
while turnips are slightly sweeter.

Neeps and tatties - yum!
