[Loch-Ruadh] helm

I think I have one of the most closed face helms in Loch Ruadh and the ONLY reason I can stand it is the half inch slot that runs down the front, allowing both air and a straw to enter. I had a helm when I first started that is referred to as a T slot and found breathing to be a major problem when the temperature got warm.

I found a helm for a very reasonable price but before I buy it I wanted a little input on whether I want it or not. It is a Crusades or Early Renascence style with the full face with just an eye slot and air holes. Does anyone use one like this and if they do what is visability like? Not that it really matters since once I take my glasses off to put it on I won't be able to tell friend from foe and will have to have some one point me in the right general direction anyway.
