[Loch-Ruadh] Question for the Heralds (Past and Present)

Cathal has a good point - you can get the requisite number of differences
by adding a border, or perhaps by doing your background as per fess (a
diagonal split) in two colors, then representing the eagle in a metal, or
counterchanging it.

Think of it this way: the background could be black and red (sable and
gules), and the eagle could be white or gold (argent or Or), or the eagle
could also be black and red, split at the diagonal field division, with
the red part of the eagle on the black part of the background and vice
versa.

The addition of a secondary charge at the top or the bottom, and/or a
border, and/or a chief or base (top or bottom division) of another color
or metal can give you all the changes you'll need. The goal, of course,
is to get you as close to what you originally wanted with the fewest major
changes.

Now, I had thought that only two CDs (complete differences) were required
for a device to not conflict. Have the rules on that changed? Gruffydd
or Dohmnall, do you know?

Are you going to be at the shed party this weekend? If so, maybe we can
grab a cup of coffee afterward and discuss some ideas on getting your
device passed.

Gruffydd, will you be there? If so, can you bring the PicDic so Kaz can
see some of the options?
