On February 12th the Barony of Elfsea will host Kingdom Arts & Sciences
Competition.  If you have never attended, I urge you to come to the event
and see the spectacular items that the Artisans of Ansteorra are crafting.

To continue our tradition.  Those who receive a score of 40 or better will
receive a pilgrim medallion in honor of this year's competition.

For the first time in many years, Their Majesties will choose a Kingdom Arts
& Sciences Champion from among the top scores.

In addition,  we will be inviting 10 top-scoring artisans to take their
entries to Gulf Wars to compete in the Champion's battle.

This is a bit of a change from previous years when each Kingdom sent 25
artisans.  If you would like to know more about the Gulf Wars Arts &
Sciences competitions, you can go to the Gulf Wars web site and see the new
rules which have just recently been posted.
