[Loch-Ruadh] Fist meeting of the Shire of Loch Ruadh Bowyers and Fletcher Guild

Last night, Wednesday the 13th, the Loch Ruadh Bowyers and Fletchers
Guild met for the first time. The meeting was centered around setting
the organizational structure and goals for the Guild. Below are the
results of the meeting.

Lord Tegwared MacAuley was elected Guild Master
Vivian McKinnon was elected Guild Journeyman
Kaz and Wife volunteered to be the Guild Clerks

The Guild will be run in an informal manner. The Guild Master will be
responsible for guiding the meetings and facilitating discussion. The
Journeyman will take over in the absence of the Master. It was decided
that any Guild decisions would be made by a consensus of members
present, with the Master and Journeyman acting as Final Authority
(tie-breaker vote).

The goals of the Guild are as follow:
1. to promote Archery, Bow-making, Arrow-making and Ballista maintenance in the
   Shire of Loch Ruadh.
2. to promote fellowship among the Shire of Loch Ruadh, especially in
the Archery
   community.
3. to assist Target and Combat Archers in the Shire of Loch Ruadh in
obtaining and
   maintaining their archery equipment and armor.
4. to facilitate training for combat archery so that the Fian Ruadh
becomes a major
   force in the Army of Ansteorra, capable of supplying Heavy and
Light Fighters,
   Combat Archers and a Ballista Crew, all capable and proficient in
working as a
   cohesive unit..
5. to reconstruct and maintain the Shire's ballista and facilitate the
training of the
   ballista crew.
6. to assist the Archery Marshall in the maintenance of the Shire's
loaner archery
   equipment.

Meetings will take place monthly at times and places to be decided at
the previous month's meeting and communicated to the populace via the
mailing lists. Meetings will range from workshops to construct /
maintain archery equipment, lectures by members or guest speakers,
etc.
