Thank you for posting the populace notes. I cant speak for others but I know with my working every wed night and not being able to make populace I often feel "out of the loop" on whats happening. The notes help keep me aware of whats going on. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay, my PC at home has been down, but here are the notes from Wednesday night.

  Populace Notes

Welcome to our new Officers: A&S Minister, Bice, Archery Marshal, Vivian, Hospitaler, Tegwared. Thanks to our retiring Officers: Dana, and Brigid, Tegwared did not retire he just moved on. Thanks to these Officers for the hard work and dedication to the support and enrichment of our Shire, VIVAT!

We need Award Recommendations for Lugnasad, time runs short.

If you have recommendations for the premier Ember awards for the Shire, please contact me privately. Nominations for these awards are not being accepted, but recommendations are appreciated. The Ember design submitted by Terence will be used for these premier awards. If the Populace wants another design, then designs should be submitted for consideration.

Red Tape will be hosted by DFT on 7/16, all are encouraged to attend; especially new Officers and Deputies.

A post was sent out on the Red Tape list by HRM Cateau, asking what gifts the various Shires, Cantons, and Colleges of Ansteorra would be providing for the Lillies, Estrella, and Pennsic Wars. As we had no previous knowledge of this request, we will table this issue until January. At that time we will decide which War we wish to contribute Royal Gifts to, and what those gifts might be.

The Populace determined that we would not as a Shire, offer to band together with other local groups to host a Border War/War Practice in February. It was decided rather that we would individually support this effort by volunteering our time in what ever areas we are individually suited to.
