[Loch-Ruadh] Broken son

Just for those of you that remember my son, Tor that used to play with us,
let me tell you what he did today! He assures me that he was only trying
to keep the statics up; so he fell in his own KITCHEN and broke his leg
(both bones) in two places. You know the statics are high concerning most
accidents happen in the home. He was coming in the back door in a hurry to
answer the phone, when he caught his left foot on the door frame. He
started to fall so he was going to do a little double step with his right
foot, but the second step came down on a plastic bag of cat food cans; he
turned his ankle one way, then couldn't catch himself on anything and fell
over his own foot the opposite direction. He has a spiral fracture just
above the ankle and a splinter fracture just below the knee on the other
bone. He was home alone and his cell phone was on the cabinet at the other
end of the kitchen; he managed to drag himself far enough to get it and
call for help.

This all happened about 8:15 this morning and he just got out of the
emergency room about 30 min. ago. He is having surgery tomorrow to put in
plates and screws. He is at Harris downtown, room 570 in the Pavilion.

I will let you know what other tricks he does later.
