Greetings and Salutations Good Gentles!
This Friday night, Oct 7, will be the 4th and last Passing of the Cloak
competition of the year, for 2005. Our next competition will be in January
of 2006. Those of you familiar with the cloak know that this quarter is the
BEST ONE to wear the cloak, because of the weather! (Well, maybe the
Jan-Feb-Mar qtr isn't too bad, either). Well, just come on over and
compete. The following are the rules for the competition:
"This is Yagyu Masamori Nobunagga here reporting the information on the next
competition.
Everyone will perform two pieces back to back.
They will be judged by crowd participation and response.
The judges will not be announced, they will be sitting amongst you, like
ninja.
So bring your most loved, moving, and entertaining pieces to entertain
Kragenworth Keep."
Bardic will be at 6801 Beaty St., Ft.Worth. Directions: Take your best
route to East Loop 820. Exit on Craig St (1 exit South of Meadowbrook) and
go East on Craig to Hunter (5 or 6 blks). Go North on Hunter to the "T"
with Beaty. Our house is on the NE side of the "T" (6801). We will have a
lantern and a banner on the porch. If you get lost, call us at 817-492-9246
and we will guide you to the house.
Bring your favorite bardic material, chairs, food to share and your favorite
drink of choice. Please remember that our house is not childproof and that
there are weapons in various places. During bardic, we light by candle, so
that might also be a problem for children.
We are looking forward to spending the evening with all of you! Tarkus
should be here by 11:00, unless it does the "R" thing (SHHHHHHHH!)!
In Service to the Dream!
