I'm not sure if this has made it to the list or not.

I've found the Fort Worth Volunteer Line phone number:

817-392-7400.

I've volunteered a couple of nights this week already, and have found it infinitely rewarding.

When I made the call, they returned it within about 10 minutes and were asking me if I wanted to volunteer that day.

You would be amazed at what all help they need - and a little time really goes a long way.

They've been staffed by a lot of City of Fort Worth employees, but that will be waning soon, and they will be relying more and more on volunteers.
