[Loch-Ruadh] Estrella War in Feb

I knew you and Kat were from the Phoenix area but didn't know exactly where.
So how old were you when I was stationed at Williams AFB (now a low income
housing project from what I've been told) east of Chandler in February of
1974?  I've been to Luke AFB a couple of times while I was stationed there.
We used to take our F-5 fighters over there and fly "turkey shoots" (mock
air-to-air combat) against the F-15 fighters when they were first stationed
there in the mid '70s.  I transferred out in November of 1981 but not till
after I got married (to my ex) and both my boys were born, my oldest Scott
at Williams AFB and his younger brother Matt at Desert Samaritan Hospital in
Mesa.  Many of you know Matt as Eric the younger.  I haven't been back to
the Phoenix area other than to fly through the airport since 1989 and the
only thing I miss about the place is tubing the Salt River and hiking in the
Superstition Mountains.  But I'm too old for that silly stuff any more.  I
don't miss the Air Force and I don't miss the heat :-)

Kat and I both grew up on the west side of Phoenix over by Luke AFB. We both
went to Peoria High School.

My parents house is on 57th Ave just north of Peoria Ave in Glendale. Kat's
mom had a house out by Sun City at I think 111th and Olive. We moved to
Dallas in '92 after I finally graduated from college. :)
