Post War notes GW XV
  03/26/06

  Need:
Hand washing station at Kitchen pavilion
Stumps on rebar at entrance for Tikis
  Trash cans for common area
  Camp and Kitchen banners
  Pennants at our gate
4x4 posts (painted yellow) with eye-bolts top and bottom to attach half-fold sheet walls 2-3 to a side. Grommet the sheets.
One sheet wall decorated with member devices or device shields hung on gate wings
  Pole saw for dead branches
Tarp to gutter between common pavilions
  Deeper dish-pans
  Chandeliers for common pavilions

  Changes:
Kitchen a midpoint of camp, on the road side (with trench and sump hole toward ditch), perpendicular to the common pavilion(s)
Side walls to be folded in half rather than hung full length
No use of sheet wall line for laundry. Put up a clothes line if you want one.
Chores and Camp rules will be posted on a board on the end wall of the Kitchen
The First-Aide kit will be kept in the Kitchen, out on the back table.
We will set up a tent across from the Kitchen, or in over-flow for armor storage and repair as space allows.
Dirt buckets filled during the excavation of the fire pit will be used as butt cans around camp (these will be painted prior to war to hide their mundanity).

  Up-Keep:
Rake a section each year as we leave site, and spread grass seed.
Clear all the way back to the tree line

  Supply Additions/Changes:
Sunscreen and Aloe added to kitchen supplies
Coffee: 1 box for those who drink 1 cup per day
2 boxes for those who drink multiple cups or want coffee AM and PM
3 boxes for those who drink coffee all day
1 Gal. of Citronella Oil to be supplied by each meal group

  Camp Etiquette:
Assure that you have sufficient labor to set up and tear down your personal encampment without depending on the help of others.
All common structures will be erected prior to personal camps going up whenever possible.
All common structures will be dropped between dinner and Great Court on Saturday night.
Chore list will be posted at least 3 days prior to the Saturday before War.
If you miss your Kitchen duty, it will shift to the next morning.
There will be a Camp meeting in the evening the first full day of War.
Golf Carts will be restricted from driving into the camp area to control dust, dirt, and noise

  Safety:
Many options were discussed to assure that the entire Camp is safely lit, and that Fire-restricted areas are sufficiently distant from open flames (ie.. Tiki Torches, Camp Stoves, and the Bardic Fire).
Next year and in years following, there will be sufficient lighting either by the use of bright solar lighting, period looking battery operated lighting or the positioning of Fire-restricted tents at the rear of the camp. Every consideration and attempt will be made to accommodate all campers without undue hardship. Many ideas for the access of an electrical connection for necessary medical equipment were discussed and will be refined within the year.

  Ideas:
Brackets placed on trees to hold banners
Utilizing an E-Z Up with walls or tarps and wooden pallets to erect a temporary shower house. Each family would be responsible for proving their own solar shower bag.
