[Loch-Ruadh] Gas prices-idea

This post will probably fall under the heading of  "I sure wish Dana would just shut up." but, here or better yet, HEAR goes"

 

I learned a lot about the gas situation both from Emma and DW's posts. I thank you both for your thoughts and ideas. I well understand how passionate we can get over issues that are important to us. I am very guilty of this; I can't put my words in writing...so I just cry.

 

What I do not understand are the posts chastising DW's words. I will admit his words, though harsh, were his feelings. As I see it these posts publicly embarrassed him (and me) as much as his post to Emma embarrassed her. If you had a problem with either post maybe a private message first would have been better. Feelings all around would have been spared. 

 

We have just "lost" someone that might have been a great contributor to the group, after all he "thought" the group was composed of very intelligent people. 

 

Dun Loch Ruadh was founded on the idea that we were friendly, welcoming to strangers, sang badly (except for our bard, Padraig), willing to listen to everyone, drank way too much alcohol, tolerant and forgiving. Do we need to take a couple of steps back and re-evaluate ourselves? Have we lost sight that this is a GAME we play? 

 

I'm kind of tired of the hurt feelings, misunderstood words, backbiting and drama lately. I think "everyone" in this group needs to go back to their corner and think!! Then come back to the center of the ring, shake hands and get back to the business of having fun, because if we don't this group WILL cease to exist. 

 

I admit I do not know DW, at least I don't think we have ever met, but I am asking him that he give us a second chance.

AKA...Mama Mac, Just Dana, Floppsy, Gretchen Gottwilder, Grande Damn A.R.S.E., the very much look alike of the Grand Hoo Haa and probably a few names that no one has the courage to say to my face.
