I went to see the doctor today to find out the results of the MRI on my left knee last Saturday.   It seems I have some messed up cartilage and some extra cartilage I ain't supposed to have.  The doctor has recommended surgery (arthroscopic). Well I've had that on the right knee and it takes me about 6 weeks to come back from that, at least to come back enough to fight.

Also it takes about 5 days before I can get back to work after surgery. Since we are going to Las Vegas this summer to see some grandkids we haven't seen in 4 years (one of whom we haven't seen at all) GW and a week off for surgery takes too big a bite out of my available paid time off.

This all leads up to I don't think we will be able to make it to War this year after all.
Anything we have that we promised to provide such as the big stove, lanterns, propane, etc. we will be happy to loan to the Shire for War.
