Thank you everyone for your well wishes. He started on pedialyte and worked
his way back up to formula. As of right now he is on 3 oz of formula. He's
starting to fill back out...which is a big relief to me because when I took
him in I was starting to see his ribs.....oh so scary. We went home
yesterday and he was fine until it hit night time, then he was fussy all
night. Oh the joys of colic. Oh well, at least we don't have to go through
all of his clothes in 2 days anymore :o)

BTW, I really want you guys to meet him.....but we'll have to wait until the
weather warms up. Also, if you want to see updated pics of him, go to
www.angelfire.com/journal2/elyssiaxvx/alex from time to time. Luke just got
me a digital camera for V-day off ebay for $10 (what a deal!) so I will be
taking lots of pics and posting them! There are some that I have taken
within the past month or so already up there.

Thanks again for your prayers....I know that is what got us through.

Ceara

All,

Thanks so much for all your well wishes and expressions of concern. Alex
had his surgery this morning (Thursday) and all went well. I was able to go
by the hospital and see him and his parents (and his other grandparents
which was a treat as well). He pretty much slept the whole time I was there
except for one time when he woke up long enough to give us a few smiles. I
think he was trying to tell us he thought the drugs he was on was pretty
cool :) Just kidding but I did get a call tonight from Ceara letting me
know he was taking fluids orally (sugar water) without spitting them back up
and if all goes well on Friday and he transitions to formula with no
complications, he and his parents should be able to go home Friday night.

I want to thank all of you for your support for my kids and grandson. I say
this with no reservations...Thank you my friends.

Sean (who hopes he can become a much older friend to all of you...yes that
includes you Padraig)
