Dark are the times that any person would hold the fair and kind Baroness
Ceinwen captive!  I submit these brigands must be brought to justice. To
this end, You have my commitment to stand against this blight and help
return the Baroness to her lord.

Greetings unto the valiant fighters of Loch Ruadh and their supporters,

 

I have received a missive from Baron Armand Dragonetti, Lord of Elfsea,
inviting the fighters of Loch Ruadh to rally to his Barony's banner at this
year's Gothic War to be held Sept. 1st-3rd, 2006

 

Below you will find his words to me, that I forward unto you.

Greetings!

Following extensive study of the heavens and signs of the earth, our
advisors and alchemists have advised us most adamantly.

Therefore, I put it to you to ask of your chivalric fighters, "Will you ally
with Baron Armand Dragonetti at this year's Gothic War? To fight alongside
him, in pursuit of the release of the ladywife of Master Airaklee Wolf,
Baroness Ceinwen, who has been captured and is being held by the widow of
the rogue, Ruspoli, whom Master Airaklee did kill at Gothic last year?"

If a commitment by a portion of fighters from Loch Ruadh to ally with Lord
Elfsea and journey with him and fight alongside him at the Gothic War can be
obtained, this will be seen as a sign of good fortune and assured safety for
us. The cause being so just, I have little doubt that the valiant fighters
of Loch Ruadh can make this vow. And I look forward to seeing the names of
those who will stand with me.
