A Siren’s Tribute to Twin Moons Baronial Birthday
June 17, 2006                                        Barony of Twin Moons,
Luminous Pearl of Atenveldt

The languid sunset, mother of roses,
Lingers, a light on Grecian seas,
The wild fire flames, as the flower uncloses,
Heavy with fragrance and set loose on the breeze.

The red rose clouds, without law or leader,
Gather and float in the airy plain;
The nightingale sings to the dewy cedar,
The cedar scatters its scent to the main.

The flowers perfume turns to singing,
Heard afar over moonlit seas;
The Siren’s song, grown faint in winging,
Wafts among silent cedar trees.

Ah, and as moonlight fades at morning,
Maiden’s song in the early grey,
Faint as the first bird’s note, a warning,
Wakes and cries to the new-born day.

The waking song and dying measure
Meet the waxing and waning light
Awake to this day’s pleasure,
And Twin Moon’s Birth Day bright.

The Barony of Twin Moons invites all to join as they hold a Birthday
celebration with a Greek theme.
Enjoy Sirens song, games of thought and skill and to cap the day, a Grecian
