Last words on "Okay"
Enquiring after someone's well-being, we often ask "Are you okay?" and
receive the reply "Yes, I'm okay."  Try using these phrases instead:
     "Art thou well?"
     "How do you fare?"
     "Aye, I am all right."
     "Gramercy, I am well."
"Okay" also sees overuse as a filler ("Okay, let's get ready to go.")  Use
phrases such as "all right" or "very well" instead.
     "All right, now make ye ready."
     "Very well, we shall now proceed."

     "The rain falls as if the very welkin were pierced."
