Just wanted to add my note to Bice's. 
  Remember that the Populace voted to create these bookmarks to use as part of the Shire's donation to the royal gift baskets for Pennsic. Please attend so that we have a maximum number of participants learning to make these. We want our best craftsmanship and effort to represent our support of Kingdom and Society. 
  I've been told that these are very easy to learn to make.

ball of bedspread weight crochet cotton will make 2 or 3 pieces at least.
