Thought some might be interested. There are supposed to be blacksmiths present. Keep in mind, though, that parking might be crowded since the Stock Show is in session.

This is at the corner of Camp Bowie and Montgomery, at the old OMCT:

WESTERN HERITAGE CELEBRATION - SATURDAY, JANUARY 27TH

UNTHSC will host this free community festival from 8 a.m. until high noon, in Parking Lot B on our West Campus (the old hospital property).

Fun for the whole posse will include lots of real cowboys, Native American dancing, western art, stagecoaches, chuck wagon cooking, dancing, blacksmiths, horses, historical displays, story telling, singing and many more hands-on activities. You might even want to head over to the 2 p.m. rodeo matinee at the Will Rogers Complex afterwards.

Fort Worth’s annual Western Heritage Trail Drive Celebration is organized by Score A Goal in the Classroom, a collaboration of local businesses, schools and professional sports teams who sponsor incentive programs for students, http://www.scoreagoalintheclassroom.org.
