You left out the barefoot and too poor to own a coat so we had to carry the
dog to keep warm.

I'm content with my fresh hot pot of chicken and dumplings, herbed biscuits,
and the loaf of hot french bread I just pulled out of the oven.
Now, it's just a matter of getting my book and settling down with a cup of
hot tea.

C'mon, Wolfie, this isn't even a blue norther.  If you think this is bad,
you'd never survive a real Yankee winter, with 10-foot snow drifts and wind
chills of -40 degrees.  A mild winter, that is.   ;-)
