[Loch-Ruadh] Horseshoe Bend evac

Just to let folks know whats happening.

As Mom said yes, we were in the evacuation. When we left home yesterday just before 2pm the water was about halfway up our property (for those who havent been out to our place we have right at 2 acres) but since the house is built up on piers the water was not *in* the house at that point. The basement is flooded though. We have no idea what the status of the place is at this time. They are not letting anyone into the Bend and of course everyone was supposed to have been out yesterday (though as we're seeing on the news they are having to water rescue some of the more stubborn folks who didnt leave) so all we know is what we see on the news channels. We have no idea what the condition is of the house at this time. 

Mom/Dana is letting us plop in the living room on the sofa sleeper. Una/Miranda is sleeping in the recliner chair. Sive/DeAundra is at her Dad's high and dry in NRH. The cats are in Mom's sewing room being grumpy. The dogs are being kenneled at a place in Crowley (they were at our vets last night but he didnt have any room with the "holiday boarders" as of this afternoon so we had to move them). NOt sure what bills wont get paid to pay for the kenneling but we'll figure it out as things come. The ferrets are vacationing with one of Una's teachers (her band director wants ferrets as pets so she us using this time to ferret sit as a "Trial run" to see of they really want ferrets). Iggy the wonder piggy is guarding the house as we had no way to be able to evacuate her yesterday.

Conal, Una and myself have 2 changes of clothes and Mom will have a higher water bill since I will be doing the "wash one wear one" until things change. 

Please keep us (and our neighbors) in your thoughts and prayers while we all deal with the upcoming aftermath of the flood.
