Dallas  Morning News this morning (June 15) has an
article on page 5H about an  exhibit of Roman Art from
the Lourvre that will be on display at the  Oklahoma
City Museum of Art from Thursday (June 19) to  October
12th.  The article says that the exhibit includes art
from  the early first century B.C. to the sixth century
A.D. and includes  "monumental sculptures, sarcophagi,
marble busts and reliefs, bronze and  terra-cotta
statuettes and implements, jewelry, glass and metal
cups and  vessels, mosaics, frescoes and more than 100
silver pieces from  Pompeii."
