Alas, I will not be able to make this trip. It breaks my heart to have
to pass up an opportunity to stockpile more fabric, but I have promised
to travel with my daughter this weekend. 
Ya'll have fun... feel something good and fuzzy for me! (Kaz should know
what I mean ~ be nice, Kaz!)

Hello fabric junkies!

So far, we are still planning our trip to Perth Street Fabric District in  
Dallas on Saturday, May 31.  Thora and I plan to meet at my house about  9:00 am 
and carpool to Dallas some time after 10:00 am.  That should allow  everyone 
time to get here.  Dana, if you need a ride over, let me know and  I'll 
arrange for someone to come and get you.  I would encourage anyone in  the Shire to 
join us as we loot and pillage in true Viking style (we won't burn,  since we 
might want to come back sometime at a later date).  Anyone who is  interested 
can come back to the house afterward and discuss Viking embroidery  and 
accessories.  Also, if anyone is interested in breakfast, lunch or  brunch, we might 
be able to work that out too!  As for me, I am still not  responding to 
antibiotics, have great difficulty swallowing, and a barely  discernable voice.  
However, I have some hope that I will be on the mend by  Saturday.  Thanks for 
your get well soon messages, and I really missed  having you here on Tuesday.  
I hope that you can join us, and if that is  your intent, please email me 
(Thora's computer is down so don't try to email  her) and let me know that you are 
planning to come so that we can figure out how  many vehicles are needed for 
the trip.  Also, that way we will wait for you  if you run late!
