[Loch-Ruadh] Gate Fund Raffle!!

Greetings!

I wanted to give you all advanced notice of a raffle currently taking
place in Loch Ruadh to replenish the Gate Fund coffers. 

As you know extensive work has been done on the gate the past year, and
extensive work is still needed to make it the Gate we want it to be. 

To be able to purchase supplies needed some Loch Ruadh members have
generously donated items to raffle off to the populace. All proceeds from this raffle will go directly into the Gate Fund (not the Shire accounts)
for the purchase of supplies and other misc. gate related expenses.
If you have items you wish to add to the raffle PLEASE bring them to populace on Wed. or contact Lady Kat to arrange pick up.

The cost of the raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.


Raffle tickets will be drawn and the prizes awarded at the August 26th
Ceilidh being hostessed by Lord Jock and Lady Vivian. You do not have to
be present to win, but it would be a lot more fun if you were!



Items Currently Up for Raffle:

- A LOVELY set of hand turned lace bobbins made by our own Seneschal Lord Padraig. If you would like to see a picture of the bobbins please feel
free to email me at fem_cat at yahoo dot com. You can also see the bobbins
in person at Wednesday's Populace meeting.   

- A book titled Constructing Medieval Furniture: Plans and Instructions
With Historical Notes by Daniel Diehl (Donated by Lord Alric and Lady Fiona)
