Lutefisk

Catch and fillet a cod. Marinate the flesh in a moist lye solution until it breaks the fish down into a mush. Rinse well, press into cakes and let harden into a brick like consistency. Store for several decades, or until hungry. Slowly poach brick of lutefisk until mushy, serve with salt, dill and mustard. Enjoy!

"In all life one should comfort the afflicted, but verily, also, one should afflict the comfortable, and especially when they are comfortably, contentedly, even happily wrong." -John Kenneth Galbraith
