Yule Revel has come and gone, and the dust has mostly settled from our efforts. We’ve rested and gotten our personal effects and garb cleaned and sorted. We’re snuggling in to keep warm on a wintry day, that we are oh so glad held off until after our event, and now it’s time for the thanks and appreciative murmurs over our hard work. Finally!

The list of honors awarded has preceded this missive and all honored greatly deserve these accolades.

Kaz and I wish to thank all of those who offered their knowledge, experience, creativity, skills, and labor to selflessly assure that this event was successful. I have not heard what the final profit for the event may have been (in excess of $500.00), but we exceeded the break even point significantly. VIVAT LOCH RUADH!

While many may have helped that I did not take specific note of, for which I humbly apologize in advance, I will list here those that I recall and beg the pardon of any gentle whose effort I might miss.
To DFT for honoring us with the responsibility of conducting their annual event.
To those who helped in the planning and organization: Dana, Aingeal, Bice, Gryffudd, Marion, Vivian, Sybil, Caterina, Antonia, Padraig, and Tegwared.
To TJ for the site tokens he created for us with such an historic meaning and to Floria for painting those for the champions and royals.
To Eleanor for designing our invitation, those who painted them; Vivian, Sybil, Antonia, Bice, Caterina, Marion, and Gryffudd, and Caerell and Caterina for helping with the calligraphy font.
To the banner painters: Gryffudd, Marion, Antonia, Caterina, Vivian, Sybil, Tegwared, and Cait.
For the donators of prizes: Sean, Polydore, Fiona, Alric, Caterina, Rose, Gwen and Aingeal as well as any others who may have contributed.
To Aingeal and Ameline for the loan of their banners and other decorations.
To Bice who was with us in spirit for her prep work on Gate.
To Caerell, Aingeal, Antonia, Padraig, Tegwared, Gryffudd, and Marion for helping with load out and hauling Shire equipment to the site.
To the Set-Up crew who out did themselves: Marion, Gryffudd, Ragnar, Cait, Janie, Eoghan, Ravenger, Alric, Fiona, Antonia, Tegwared, Terrence, Ari, and Renna. The Hall looked absolutely wonderful.
To Caerell for running Gate and to Dana, Gwen, and Janie who assisted him throughout the day.
To Dana for keeping all supplied with coffee from early morning ‘til end of day.
To Caterina and Rose for acting so ably as Royal Liaisons.
To Alric and Fiona, with Mel and Robbie’s assistance, for acting as entourage for TEs Elfsea.
To TEs Daire and Druinne for their relaxed, enjoyable, and moving Court and for their progress among the Populace throughout the day.

To the newcomers who swelled our ranks: Well Met, new members assure the continuation and diversity of the dream we all follow. Especial thanks to those who stood guard over TEs Elfsea: Hayes, Allen, Heath, and Annest’s son (I apologize for not recalling his name).
To Caerell, Alric and Gryffudd for acting as guards in evening Court.
To Padraig for acting as Court Herald.
To all who participated in the competitions held by the Shire and DFT: Titled Bard, A&S Champion, OOPS, and Table Decorating (we saw some beautiful table settings). To the winners of the competitions: Isadore, Lauretta, Floria, and House Mac (who donated their winnings to the Shire’s next event). To the coordinators: Brighid, Al Aeryn, Caterina (Terrence), and DFT.
To Cait and Tegwared for so enjoyably engaging the children in activities.
To Vivian and Sybil for organizing and overseeing our pot-luck feast.
To Lauretta, Crandall, and DFT for their wondrous Raffle.
To Ulf (I believe this is his name, Linda Jo’s beau who is new to us) for stepping up to voice herald.
To all who took the time to attend the event adding to the magic and ambience of the day.
To our awesome Tear-Down crew: Isadore, Kat, Alex, Mel, Robbie, Antonia, Ari, Renna, Alric, Fiona, Gryffudd, Marion, Thomas, Floria, Hayes, Tegwared, Vivian, Sybil, Annest, Caerell, Ragnar, and Cait. Never has an Autocrat been more proud.

VIVAT!  VIVAT! VIVAT! And our warm and heartfelt thanks.

Kaz wishes to thank Ravenger for not running away from any crap job that he asked him to do.

I wish to thank Tegwared for supporting me through this experience, Kaz for taking point on site, the event attendees for their rousing chorus of the Birthday Dirge, and the Shire for allowing me to provide this service.

We could not have accomplished this task without the assistance and support of each and every one of you.

 Thank You
Kaz and Catrin
