I don't know what the Weather Channel is basing that on.  I know of a few since then.

The weather channel said that the last white Christmas was in 1926. A little before my time. : )

It sure does - everything at Tir O'Maolagain is covered in a thick blanket of white.  I've never seen a white Christmas Eve in Loch Ruadh before.
