You were missed at Yule Revel, but I'm glad you had a good time in Northshield.  I want to hear more details next time we get together.  That is funny about the lady with the DP - apparently Airaklee, much like Saint Nicholas, shows up everywhere.

I had a great trip.  It is always interesting to learn how other Kingdoms do things.  The event was in a pole barn about twice the size of Canton.  But during court I was 200 feet from the Crown and I could hear what was being said.  I enjoyed watching the elevation that had participants from 6 Kingdoms.  I am just very glad I will not be there this weekend.  It was warmer there on Friday when I landed than it was here.  There was no snow on the ground.  :(  They have some very interesting fund raisers.  The people were extremely friendly and I had many people introduce themselves.  They were shocked to find out I was from Ansteorra.  At one point I turned around an a lady was drinking a Dublin DP, so I said something to her and she wanted to know how I knew that it was a Dublin.  I told her they are not a rarity where I come from.  She than told me that Master Airklee brought them to her for her B-Day.  So it is a very small world.  I
enjoyed my time meeting new friends and seeing some old ones, but it is nice to be home.

I'm sure Aingeal has by now been regaled with tales of Yule Revel here at home, but I've been waiting patiently to hear stories from the far frozen northlands. How went the trip and the event?
