Subject: [Ansteorra] Bordermarch A&S Populace Vote Contest Results
Bordermarch A&S Populace Vote Contest:
I had the privilege to host the A&S Populace Vote Contest, where these fine artisans partipated:
- Adolf the Bear, Bordermarch, with a Leather Pouch with fur trim
- Colecte Le Fournier, Bordermarch, with a Silk Painting small banner
- Helene Von Braunschweig, Bryn Gwlad, with an Embroidery Gryphon
- Augustina Minerva d'Orleans, Elfsea, with 2 Pottery Platters painted with early period images
- Caerell mac Domnaill, Loch Ruadh, with a bone Ear Scoop/Toothpick
- Raina of Wolfstar, with a Madonna and Child drawing
(One small child claimed the Madonna looked like an angel)
- Saqra al-Kudsi, Steppes, with a woven Lace Scarf, white
- Ellen the Quiet, Bordermarch, with an Illuminated and Calligraphy scroll, highlighting the officers of Bordermarch in the gallery on the image.
A total of 118 votes were made – thank you populace for participating.
All the entries received similar vote counts, but two of the entries stood out ahead of the others.
- Runner up: Augustina Minerva d'Orleans with her hand cast painted pottery platters with a Greco/Roman image on them.
- Overall Winner: Caerell mac Domnaill with his carved and polished faux-ivory bone ear scoop/toothpick combination.
Well done to all the artisans and keep up the excellent work,
Cheers, Hillary
