[Loch-Ruadh] Fighter practice

To the Populace of Loch Ruadh,
 
After consulting with Lord Rolf, our Knight Marshal, we have decided to reschedule Fighter Practice and encourage everyone, especially fighters, to attend Glaslyn's Demo and the Regional War Practice this coming Saturday.  Please see Centaurian Damon's messsage below for more information.  Also, you can go to http://www.celtictexas.org/dcf.html for more details on the Celtic Festival itself.

Remember, admission is free if you show up in garb and show your SCA Membership card.

My Dear Friends 

 I am in a bit of a spot and need your help.  I just realised that your monthly fighter practice is this saturday the 12... on the same day and time as your practice, we have been given the opportunity to hold a war college/demo up here in Glaslyn.   

The problem with all this is it has just kinda fallen together in the last week, and I hate the lack of notice...but dang it folks I want you guys there.  
For those who came out to the practice a while back I had a blast and thank you.  To those who fought with me at Gulf War you made my war have one bright point that the final score could not sully, and I meant it at both those events when I said         "I WANT MY BANNER BACK" 
I have held the Kings war banner, bled for it and seen it given into my units hands, and it is MINE.  I want you to have that experience too.  Last year, we had never practiced as a defined unit and we blew them away.  Our little ragtag unit was mentioned in the same breath as Rhoadd and the LionDragon Guard, think what we can accomplish with a little coheasion, and training.

We will be having a Demo at the fair in Denton on September 12. This demo will be held behind the Kroger on University Dr. No charge if you come in garb and show your SCA ID. The fair opens at 10am so come prepared to fight, sew, weave or whatever you do at events. 
 
We would like very much to have a war practice on this day. So please spread the word around to all your fighting buddies.
