Subject: [Ansteorra] Branwyn Memorial A&S and Gathering

In commemoration of the life and contributions of Mistress Branwyn O’Brallaghan, Betty Elaine Bradley, a special competition will be held in her honor in conjunction with the Arts & Sciences competition at Steppes Warlord on May 29, 2010.

There will be two separate prizes offered for this sponsored event in the categories of painted wall hangings and tromp l’oeil to commemorate her introduction of those art forms to the kingdom of Ansteorra over thirty years ago at Steppes Warlord in A.S. XIV.

Prizes will include an original painting by Mistress Branwyn herself. Entrants in this special competition should register in advance by contacting Baron Edwin FitzLloyd at branwyn.memorial at gmail.com

At 3:00 PM the same day everyone is invited to a brief gathering held in the event’s main hall to celebrate the life and memory of Mistress Branwyn, a remarkable individual who made many contributions to the history of our kingdom and its traditions.
