Just my opinion, historically
The higher a person's status the more they are worth. Also as an economist, if the cost is too high, the less particition you get: 20 people at two dollars earns more than 3 people at five.
But what ever everyone else thinks.

Yes, the sponge balls for the rotten vegies. If Marion has to be there, then I guess we might as well bring them.
We plan to leave tomorrow at four. If Aingel would give us a good time for pickup, we will be there.

Just a couple of points:

I think that we should charge $5.00 across the board, and as you noted, anyone wanting to get out of serving their time needs to pay the same as a "fine".

Are we going to use the donnybrook sponge balls as the "rotten food"?  Can someone pick them up from the shed? (Make sure to coordinate with Marion, and check with Aingeal and Cearell as to their availability.)

Suggestions for warrant fees, fines and sentencing.

If anyone has any better ideas; go for it.

We will need two people at a time for Sheriff duty. On to write warrants an one to make arrests.

Normal populous $2.00
Anyone with Sir in there name $5.00
Anyone who wears a pointy brass hat $10.00.

Ransom fee to be the same as warrant.

Rotten food cost 3 for a buck.

Time in the stocks 10 minutes if ransom not paid.

One rule prisoner will not be told who signed the warrant unless a substantial fine bribe be paid to the sheriff.

I will print out warrant forms.

As a fund-raiser to help complete the gate on our Gulf War land, Loch Ruadh will be running the stocks at DFT's Guardian of the Tor this weekend.

DFT has a nice new set of stocks, and has offered to let us break them in.  For a reasonable fee, gentles can swear out a Warrant of Arrest against someone they think should spend time in the stocks for offenses real or imagined.  Of course, the accused will be offered the opportunity to avoid the t
