[Loch-Ruadh] Home from War

After spending the night at that same inn as Alric and Fiona, we urged our sturdy horse and it's wagon through Glenn Abhann in the driving snow. We also arrived home about 3 o'clock, after stopping for a leisurely lunch in Lindale.
Chantel greeted us all with big hugs and kisses and a house that had been wonderfully cleaned in the absence of husbands and children. We gave her the gifts we had bought her, showed her the largesse the boys had been given, and told her as much as we could remember about the war. She hauled the boys to town to get haircuts to be ready for school, and I took a short nap.
I will be unpacking bit by bit over the next few days, pulling out all the items I have stowed in nooks and crannies. I'm pausing for just a bit to check e-mail before I resume taking any perishables from the trailer.
It was a wonerful war, the weather was the most cooperative that I remember, the classes I took were wonderful, and I feel the camp functioned admirably all week.
Thanks to everyone that participated and helped from the sidelines!

My lord Alric and I arrived home safely around 3:00 this afternoon. We decided to spend the night at lovely hostel in Vicksburg before continuing our homeward trek. After a good night's sleep and a hot shower, we continued our journey home. We are now unloading and unpacking. More to follow.
