The Shannon River Raid is less than three weeks away!

Have you written and sent your Award Recommendations yet?

Remember, the only way that Their Majesties know who in the Shire of Loch Ruadh 
should be honored in Court with an Award of Arms, a Sable Comet, or a multitude 
of other awards, is when members of the Shire take the time to put in writing 
why a particular individual deserves to be recognized.

You can find definitions of the Awards given in Ansteorra at 
http://heraldry.ansteorra.org/OP/A_constitutions.pdf and an online Award 
Recommendation form at http://www.ansteorra.org/forms/award.php .  Or of course 
you can always write a letter/email to Their Majesties.  Please make sure that 
you copy me as Seneschal on any award recommendations you make for anyone from 
Loch Ruadh.

Not sure if someone has a particular award already?  You can check on that at 
the Loch Ruadh website at http://www.lochruadh.org/?id=lr .  Just click on the 
letter of the person's SCA first name, and then on their name from the displayed 
list.
