Just for your info.

When I was on the phone yesterday with the upper level tech at AT&T he 
advised me that they do not run the mail system for any of the AT&T owned 
email addresses. All of the email address are basically hosted by yahoo and 
fall under the same standards as a yahoo account. So if a problem is on 
their side, it will show with both Yahoo and AT&T email addresses.
