Greetings One and All;
 
    The Barony of Elfsea has been asked to put on a Big Demo for the Boy Scouts of America.  It will be their 2012 Camporee at the Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth.  It will be held on 10 November 2012, they are expecting 8000 people to attend.
 
    Our current plan is to have the following:
 
        An A&S display Tent (preferably with hands on projects)
        Rapier Fighting
        Chivalric Fighting
        Youth Fighting
        Archery (Period shooting demonstrations and shooting for the participants)
        Axe Throwing (Hands on for the participants)
        A mock Court to award prizes
        Culture Camps
 
    The Boy Scouts are very excited about this and are working with us to make it happen.
 
    We are inviting all who would like to come and help to do so.  We will need Coordinators for many of the events.  We will need Culture Camp participants who can display their period living conditions and possibly answer questions.  We will need fighters of all types.  We will need lots of Marshalls to help with crowd control and to answer questions.  
 
    The site will open Friday night and close on Sunday.  We recommend you come in Friday, especially if you are doing Period camping.  There will also be a seperate area for open camping.  
 
The Demo Coordinators are Don Sebastian Frobishire and H.L. Elspeth de Stervlen
 
    If you have questions or are interested in being a Coordinator or participating in the Culture Camps please let me know.
