Pollo con Manzanas Estilo Menorquin sobre el arroz (Menorcan Style Chicken
with Apples over Rice)   Menorca is a small Spanish island in the
Mediterranean, which has a unique cuisine, influenced by the Catalan,
British and French. This simple chicken recipe has a rich and distinctive
flavor, combining the cinnamon, garlic, and apples. Serve with rice.

INGREDIENTS:

   - boneless & skinless chicken breasts
   - cinnamon
   - salt
   - ground pepper
   - garlic
   - parsley
   - msg free chicken stock
   - apples
   - sugar free white grape juice
   - rice
   - Corn starch

Habas Españolas (Spanish Beans) The Spanish eat lots of beans and they make
great meals for the fall and winter seasons. Beans are low in fat and full
of nutrients like calcium and potassium, not to mention fiber. This bean
dish is a simple, flavorful dish that contains no meat. Eaten with rice, it
makes an entire meal in a single bowl!

INGREDIENTS:

   - dry pinto beans
   - garlic
   - bay  leaf
   - red bell pepper
   - paprika
   - Salt

In honor of Baron Alejandro Ramirez Mendoza we have assembled a few Spanish
dishes.  This is not a Period feast but it is of Spanish origin.

Spain is a country rich in culinary heritage and famous foods. Each
traditional dish tells a unique story of history, culture, agriculture,
religion, economy, and human taste. As true with most countries, different
regions have different specialties.  Tomatoes, chili peppers, and maze were
available to the Spanish Courts as early as the 1500’s after contact with
the Americas.



This feast is FREE and is included in your site Fee.  We are doing this
because it is our way of saying THANK YOU to all those who have attended
our past events and helped us raise the money needed to buy our new Canton
trailer.

Canton of Dragonsfire Tor's Yule Revel XXIII
Will be held at Oakdale Park in Glen Rose, Texas.

Site fee is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for 6 – 17, $30.00 Family Max, and 5
and under are free. The evening meal will be a non period Feast.
