[Loch-Ruadh] garage sale with items that might interest SCA folks

Shame on you, Kathy!!!! I'm trying to downsize and this didn't help at all.

Books (hardback included) were $1 a bag!!! I got some great buys...12 Dr. Seuss and 5 other children's books, 2 Justin Wilson cook books (1 is signed), a neat book to keep family recipes in, 2 other recipe books, 2 books for the Shire library and 6 books 6 books on birds. All were well cared for and in in fantastic shape for $2. I also bought a huge box of office supplies for $20 that probably has about $75 -100 worth of supplies in it...including an honest to goodness paper cutter which was the only thing I really wanted in the box.

One set of my grandchildren's grandparents are moving from a large house they have been in 42 years---lots of stuff has accumulated.
1919 Merrick   just down the street from Rope Pope grocery between Arlington heights and Rivercrest
There was a stack of very worn wooden plates-square
A bunch of beer steins, either pewter or heavy aluminum with clear bottoms
An ax and hammer that looked actually more Ren Fair
Two folding wooden chairs without arms
Lots of kitchen stuff     lots of large serving stuff

Tools of all sorts\
Old woolen army blanket
blue tablecloth   either linen or linen blend
3 sets of Haviland and miscellaneous other glassware
Haviland chocolate set that Floria needs
Best deal   lots of hardbound books that will be extremely cheap     history, art, and cookbooks    really some great stuff here. possibly as low as one dollar each

open Thurs at 12  Friday at 10,   Sat at 8    close at one Sat
