Subject: Greetings to the Coastal Regions

Greettings to the Coastal Regional Seneschals,
The Shire of Seawinds is excited and honored to be hosting the Coronation of the beloved HRH Ulsted and Cateau January 15, at Choke Canyon State Park in Three Rivers. We are depending on the graciousness of our Coastal groups to lend their support and experience. I believe that this is the first time in Seawinds 20 year history that we have had a Coronation so it is a very momentous occassion. There are three event stewarts, and I am one of them. My responsibilities include troll and hall decorations. I am asking for volunteers to please help with troll and also I am looking for a person/persons to decorate the head table at feast and also someone or group to orgainze the hall decorating. Lady Victoria from Stonebridge Keep is taking charge of running troll, but does not currently have email. If you would like to volunteer (one day event, but we will have troll open for those who are camping on Fri. nite) please email me and let me know what shift you would be willing to take. She will contact you before the event to finalize the schedule. I expect anyone who volunteers for troll to be experienced in running gate and be familiar with all of the details requried to take reservations, sign waivers, charge the non-members, etc. We are asking that people prepay (ACCEPS) and pre register , but it is not requried. It would be wonderful if some of the treasurers in the Coastal Region would help out even if it is just for an hour. Your experience is invaluable. If you have an idea for decorating the head table, let me know. To date we have not been given a theme. Also, can someone please tell me who did the wonderful hall decorations at AAA or who was in charge of the decorations? This site is a beautiful wooded site and game preserve. The stone hall was built in 1928 and is an historic landmark. It is approx 75 miles or 1.3 hours north of Corpus for us, and more centrally located than coming all the way to Corpus for others who are north of us. I hope everyone will consider attending. If you need to camp, contact the park. More infro will be in the Black Star and on the Seawinds website. I look forward to hearing from thundering crush of volunteers, jamming my ban width...lol. Please pass this request to your populace. Thank you all in advance.
In service I remain,
Katherine Brandon
