[Loch-soilleir] The Serpent's Tale

Here is my report for the next newsletter.

Greetings, my Serpentine friends!
Loch Guardian was lovely! You all made our event one
to be remembered!

I have just returned from Lillie's War in Calontir.
It was Hot, Hot, Hot! (Except when the breeze blew
off the lake at the edge of the encampment. And when
the front came through during the middle of the
night.) I'm so glad we hold most of our summer events
indoors.
I had fun despite the heat, took some classes and
visited with some old and new friends. Avatar and I
have been invited to go next year and will probably do
so if work cooperates.

Baron William and I were discussing (with help from
various members of the populace) sponsoring an event
called Squires and Cadets next year. This is an event
that allows the squires and cadets to show how much
they know about Heraldry, the courtly graces and the
martial arts. We would like to see if our populace
would be amenable to this idea. Please think about
it and we will talk about it at the next populace
meeting.
