Subject: [Loch-soilleir] QoM and WoM

Good Afternoon,

It's that time again. For the April Newsletter

Question of the month: What was a famous then "current" event during the
life of your persona?

The life of my persona is defined by the Hundred Year's War - most particularly in my case the battle of Agincourt. The Battle of Agincourt was fought on 25 October 1415 (Saint Crispin's Day), in northern France. The armies involved were those of the English King Henry V and Charles VI of France. Charles did not command his army himself, as he was incapacitated. The French were commanded by the Constable Charles d'Albret and various prominent French noblemen of the Armagnac party. The battle is notable for the use of the English longbow, which the English used in very large numbers, with longbowmen forming the vast majority of their army. The battle was also immortalised (and somewhat fictionalised) by William Shakespeare as the centrepiece of his play Henry V.

Word of the Month: Zounds-A serious oath (swear word), short for "God's
Wounds"

A gentleman of my station would not say such words in the company of ladies.

Please respond by Friday March 30th
