Brian can give a better assessment of the field based on experience, but I
went out to look at the field just now.  (I work near UoH.)

We got a significant amount of rain during the lunch hour.   There is
standing water in the low lying areas of the field.   While the higher
ground is not dry, it does not appear to be muddy.

Based on that info, I will leave it to Madog or Brian to make the call.
